ABOUT
Jacqui Robson DDP
Hi, I'm Jacqui Robson, otherwise known as Nautilus Photography. I am a passionate scuba diver and underwater photographer. I have been diving for over 25 years and taking underwater photographs for over 10 years. I live in Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands with my partner, dive buddy and reluctant underwater model, Mitch Horn.
Over the last few years, I have been on a mission to improve my photography, transitioning from a compact camera to a professional DSLR. I recently completed a Diploma in Digital Photography (Level 5) with the Southern Institute of Technology and am now studying for a New Zealand Diploma in Photography (Level 6).
As part of the final paper for my first diploma, I created a portfolio of 50 images taken in and around Maunganui Bay on the Cape Brett Peninsula. My goal was to create a photographic record of the beauty and the benefits of the rahui in Maunganui Bay.
